Hi! My name is Kurt - owner of KB Printing & Designs, LLC. I started printing almost 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much I decided to turn it into a fun side-business where I make art and functional pieces. For my day-job I work as an economist/data scientist, so I really like having this as a creative outlet. The process of 3D printing is mystifying and it's always fun to watch timelapse videos of the designs take shape layer by layer. 3D printing is infinitely customizable, and I love to see people's reactions when they see my creations! Currently I only work locally and post some of my work on my facebook page (KB Printing & Design).

I started Turtle Minded in November 2023. I was preparing for neck and spine surgery and wanted a way to kill time during my recovery. I also needed some help financially since I was going to be out of work for at least 9 weeks. I am a teacher. I was presented after my recovery with a new health issue. I will be having surgery in December 2024 to remove a brain tumor. I am blessed that it not cancer, but it has been causing issues. With that said… My shower pods are better than most store-bought products. I use 3 all natural ingredients as the base. The essential oils I use are high grade pure oils. I hope that my shower pods will help you find your peace! My main goal is to be able to have some extra funds to deal with my upcoming brain surgery. Each pod lasts 15 minutes or more in the shower.

Hello, My name is Gina and I run Gina's Paper Mountain. I started my business in 2019, when I found my love for creating flowers from paper. I credit my creative side to my mother and her creative ways to decorate our home growing up. I take pride in all my work and create with attention to detail at the forefront.
Hello, my name is Sara and I am the artist behind SariiousArt. I'm a Maryland native who loves to create textured artwork. I believe that the texture enables people to connect with the art on a deeper level. My artwork typically consists of flowers and is abstract; I enjoy using a variety of techniques and let the painting go wherever it takes me. I mainly use acrylics, however I also like to try different mediums and will incorporate mixed media from time to time in different paintings. I hope that through my art, you feel a sense of happiness and positivity.

Hello! I'm Amanda, the proud owner of Mieka Olive Oil. My journey to creating and nurturing this brand is deeply personal and rooted in a lifelong struggle with severe eczema and skin sensitivity. The gentle, nourishing properties of olive oil soothed my irritated skin in ways no commercial product ever had. This revelation sparked a passion within me. I realized that I could turn my personal solution into something that could benefit others facing similar challenges.
I've also been a beekeeper for several years and only use sustainable practices to manage my bees. I thoroughly enjoy making beeswax candles and working with the honey they produce.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to bring the healing power of nature to your skin. We believe in the beauty of simplicity and the strength of natural ingredients.

When Karen first learned to knit, she didn’t realize that nearly all the yarns at the big box stores were acrylic – that’s right plastic. While she enjoyed knitting, she didn’t really become passionate about it until she was introduced to natural fibers – hand-dyed merino, hand-spun wool, and later, locally farmed wool, llama, and alpaca. The sustainability. The natural beauty. The marked improvement in comfort, workability and fit. The farmers who know their animals by name and personality. The dyers who turn skeins of yarn into their canvas to create beautiful works of art. For all these reasons and more, Karen uses natural fibers to bring you lovingly crafted, sustainable clothing & accessories, slow fashion & slow textiles, many of which are truly one-of-a-kind. Hoagland Handmade is an Equality Ally with Equality Loudon and a Sapling Program Partner with the National Forest Foundation, donating to plant a tree for each item sold – over 1200 trees planted and counting!
Thank you for supporting my local, small craft business. I have always had a passion and hobby for creating gifts for friends and family around the holiday season. Likewise, my mom, Kathi Koelsch had a passion for making gifts to share with others focused around the use of Doterra Essential Oils in my hometown outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. In September of 2023, she passed away from a very sudden diagnosis of Lymphoma/HLH cancer. To carry on her memory, KK’s Crafts was created in early 2024. KK is not only a nickname friends have given me, it also represents my mom, Kathi Koelsch, and the cardinal you may see on different labels that represent her presence in every gift.

Hi there! We’re Murphy and Ellie, the inspiration behind this cozy little shop. Our Mom and Dad, Mary-Lynn and Jordan, have poured their hearts into making their crafts special, just like they do with everything they create. They started crafting beautiful resin and wood river decor and thoughtful gifts right in our home, with us by their side. Most nights, after our walk, they get to work making things together. Mom has been making unique and personalized gifts using her Cricut for years! She creates all sorts of thoughtful and funny items that people love to give and receive. During the day, our parents are educators in FCPS and love the ability to support PTAs across the region. Every piece is handmade with love and care, from sourcing the perfect wood to adding the perfect finishing touches.

What began as a simple birthday gift from her sister-in-law back in 2021, launched Katelyn Pfeiffer ¾ owner, creator, and lead artist ¾ of the Pied Pfeiffer on a truly surprising and fun journey. Having started her business as a paper quilling artist, once her son arrived later in 2021, she found she had little time to work with small strips of paper. Getting her starter kit for her birthday, Katelyn played around with one of the coaster molds and a love of resin art was birthed.
Now, three years later, Katelyn has her work in one brick and mortar shop, has held a booth at the Manassas summer Farmers Market a few times, and teaches in home workshops as well as workshops at Craftspace in Chantilly once a month. Continuing to watch tutorial videos and play around with new techniques on a weekly basis, Katelyn’s love of resin grows.
